Feature & Follow Friday (#2)

Hey guys! Today is Friday which means Feature & Follow Friday! FFF is hosted by Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read.  It is an opportunity to gain followers and find new blogs in the book blogging community! You can find more information about it here. This week's featured blog is Beauty But A Funny Girl & I'll Tumble for YA.

Here is the question of the week:

Is there a song that reminds you of a book? Or vice versa? What is the song & the book?

I have a couple of songs and they all remind me of the same book! The book is Fifty Shades of Grey (and the others in the series of course) by EL James. This is probably not a big surprise  because there is so much music mentioned in the book. After I finished the book I looked up playlists for the book that had all the music that EL James mentioned in it.

So pretty much any songs mentioned will remind me of this book. Anytime I hear classical music I think of that red room... Alos, anytime I hear Sex on Fire I picture Ana dancing around Christian's kitchen.

Also I heard a song on the radio this morning that references the book and makes me so happy :) I can't remember what it is called... I know its by Pitbull... I'm looking it up! FEEL THIS MOMENT! Anyway, there is a line in the song "She read books, especially about red rooms and tie ups" and every time I hear this I smile.

How about you? What song reminds you of a book or vice versa?

    1. I definitely recommend it!! (As long as you are okay with the contend, it's a pretty intense book with lots of rough sex). And your not lame!! I have a bunch of really popular books I haven't gotten to lol

  2. Huh, I didn't finish Fifty Shades of Grey because it gritted my nerves :( Just not my type of book, I guess. Although I've heard some of the songs mentioned in it on youtube and I kinda like them.

    Followed you back!

    1. Yeah, it's not a book for everyone but it does have some great music!

  3. I tend to stay away from erotic books, because I'm more of a YA reviewer. xD However, I think it's really cool that the author listed songs that went with the book! It's great to have a playlist and know what the author was thinking of while she was writing that particular scene. :)

Thanks for stopping by! New Follower.

    1. I would def recommend it if you are comfortable reading a book with a lot of mature, adult content. Once you get past the sex, there is a great story underneath.

      Thanks for stopping by 😊

    1. Yes! I LOVED the music. There were even a few times I would find the song that was mentioned and would listen as I read the book. Awesome book!
