My thoughts:
I don't know why, but I did not really read about this book before I started it. Well, thats not entirely true, I read the synopsis a while ago when I first marked this book as a TBR but when I picked it up, I just knew I wanted to read it, I did not remember what it was about. I kept reading events that would happen in the book, like finding out her roommates payed the guy to have sex with her, and gasping at the horror! What terrible friends! And then later I read the synopsis and realized it was not supposed to be a big surprise, silly me!
Things I enjoyed about this book:
-The family dynamics. Both of their families are crazy, each in their own ways. It drove me nuts that their families are the way they are, but at the same time you can tell that even if they do not always do what I feel is right, they are caring for each other the only way they know how.
-Rory's family- Her dad is a scientist and would probably never talk to anyone if it wasn't for his social girlfriend. He is super awkward and avoids confrontation at all costs. He actually reminds me a lot of my dad and his side of the family (well, minus the science part). Anyway, even though he annoys me a lot in some parts, he is a father and is ultimately just trying to do what he feels is best for his daughter.
-Tyler's family- When it comes to Tyler's family, I do not like his mom, at all. But then again I'm not supposed to... His little brothers are absolutely adorable and I kept hoping for Jessica and Riley to get together! I think they would be precious :) I really liked not only how Tyler and Riley take care of their family, but how they let Rory in. It made me love them even more.

-Stupid friends. This is a topic that is on the things I like and the things I didn't like. On one hand, they are trying to help their friend. Well, I don't think being a virgin is a bad thing, but in their eyes they are trying to help her. They really just want her to open up and learn to take an active role in life and not just watch it pass you by. Which was really caring of them to care about, even if I do not agree with how they did it.
Things I didn't like about this book:
-Get angry, girl!. Her friends paid someone to have sex with her. If my friends did this and I found out about it like Rory, these girls would be going through hell. Of course I would forgive them, but let them know that what they did was wrong! Yes, I also understand this comes back to her not being confrontational, but still. Make them sweat a little!
-Don't try to make decisions for her. I HATE when people try to make decisions based on what they think is right for me without even discussing it with me. Tyler tries to do this throughout the entire book, always saying he is not good enough for her. Rory is a big girl, let her decide what is good for her!
Overall: I recommend this book! It is a great read for those who are looking for a good NA. My issues with the characters should not deter you from reading this book.. as annoying as it was, it was necessary for the story line! Also, this book is about a girl whose friends set her up to lose her virginity, but for those worried, there is not a lot of graphic sexual content so if your not into that, don't worry!

I recently read and enjoyed the book, but I totally agree with you on the get mad and don't make decisions for her! things. I was really surprised that she was essentially like whatever about the fact her bffs paid a guy to have sex with her. Seriously? And she pretty much didn't care about the Tyler side of it either. Granted, I think that's when she met his family and I could see how that alters thing. But I'd go crazy on my friends for sure.
